Hand-drawn Masterpieces
Hand-drawn pieces that are created using combinations of graphite, charcoal, and ink.
Throughout the years, I’ve explored ways to challenge my artistic ability in the traditional, hand-drawn format. Graphite, charcoal, and ink are the mediums I frequently use, and have explored a variety of different combinations. Imagery that incorporates dynamic lighting and unique proportions creates more striking and memorable pieces.
The challenge of the process isn’t the only aspect I’ve benefitted from. I’ve found it to be incredibly therapeutic and emotional. It’s easy to let three or four hours slip by during these times. My favorite pieces are the ones that elicit a specific emotion. I’ve found that the pieces that have the potential for an incredible level of detail, are the pieces that have the capacity for intense emotion.
